Jossie Wells.
Not too many kids even get in a helicopter at the age of 9, but that is what Jossi Wells did, but not just for a quick ride, he was dropped off the top of the mountain, skied down in front of judges and was crowned the victor of the New Zealand Rip Curl Heli challenge. Since then he has continued to light the ski world on fire. 2007 saw Jossi on podiums in nearly all the major events, the youngest skier at Winter X Games and winning the European Open Superpipe against the deepest field ever. In 2008, Jossi added a podium at the biggest event of the season, the X Games, and continued his domination at every other event he attended. At just 17 the future of the sport is happening now and it has a name - Jossi Wells.

Interview:
Favorite trick?
-Cork 9 tail/Rodeo 5.
If you weren't on the slopes, what would be an ideal day?
-Wake up. Check the Facebook. Go for the surf in warm water. Make a playlist of some new music. Shower. Grab my skateboard. Meet up with the homies and go skate. Play 9 holes of golf in the evening. Watch some 90210, Gossip Girl and Entourage and go to sleep. Yew!
Who/what has had the biggest influence on your life?
-God, Big homie always has my back. I have two bible verses i live my life by. My parents have had a huge influence on my life of course and im very thankful for everything they have done for me and the way they have brought me up. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4: 13 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
In your next life, what will you do?
-Ballin' with mah big homie :D
What type of car do you drive?
-Mercedes-Benz ML430 in the US and my Dads work truck at home in NZ.
You're deserted on an island, who/what would you bring with you?
-My brothers and all my skate homies. We would take a concrete truck and all the materials to make a really sick skatepark.
Who do you most admire in your sport? Why?
-Jon Olsson, TJ Shiller and Simon Dumont. I like Jon's perfection in his skiing, I like TJ's style and his attitude of just having so much fun and i like Simon for his great competitors mindset and his overall drive to be the best.
How do you stay fit during the "off" season?
-I go to the gym everyday, I skateboard a lot, I ride my bike, I play golf, I surf when i can.
If you could hang with any celebrity, who would it be and why?
-The boys from Entourage. I like they're loyalty to each other and they have a sick mindset on fame and fortune.
