End Plastic Waste

Plastic Waste is a Problem. Innovation is the Solution.

Plastic today. A problem tomorrow. As adidas continues to address their overall carbon footprint, they are shifting to using 100% recycled polyester in their products by 2024. This is bigger than sports, this is for our future.

For the first time riders around the world will no longer have to compromise when looking for technical performance riding products. adidas 5.10 brings Parley recycled ocean plastic technology to mountain biking in a range that features the best-selling Freerider and Freerider Pro alongside a range of new technical riding apparel that helps to end plastic waste.

adidas Primeblue is a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic—upcycled plastic waste, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean.

The first range of adidas Five Ten Primeblue products will be available in early 2021 and will feature the best-selling Freerider and Freerider Pro along with a range of Five Ten riding apparel.
