The sun on your skin feels good. However, when hiking, cycling, trail running or on high-altitude treks, UV radiation can quickly become a problem. This is exactly where UV-protective clothing comes in. It helps to block harmful UVA and UVB radiation before it reaches the skin. This is particularly important in the mountains, as UV exposure increases with altitude. What’s more, snow, glacier surfaces and light-coloured rocks reflect the radiation, meaning it hits the body not only from above but also from below.

A bike breakdown usually comes out of the blue. Especially on longer rides or remote routes, a flat tyre, a broken chain or a squeaky brake can quickly become a problem. This makes it all the more important to be prepared for common faults and to always carry the essential tools with you. With a small repair kit, many problems can be fixed straight away on the go, ensuring your ride doesn’t end prematurely.

At the valley station of the new Grafenberg cable car in Wagrain, we’ll open a brand-new Bründl Sports shop spanning around 1,500 m². As our 10th location and shop number 31, this marks another milestone in the Austrian Alps – right where the mountain experience begins.

The running season is just around the corner and many runners want to start clocking up the kilometres again.

However, if you only run and do not do any additional training, you risk overexertion or injury. Targeted strength and stability training helps to better prepare the body for the strain and remain fit in the long term.
