What can YOU expect?

Three unforgettable days in the mountains with the perfect opportunity to test the latest ATOMIC touring skis and bindings from the 26/27 collection on tour. ORTOVOX takes care of your safety and equips you for the entire weekend with avalanche safety gear, including the electronic AVABAG LiTRIC airbag backpack.

Your prize also includes two overnight stays at the Heidelberger Hut with half board (drinks not included). On Friday, we start in Ischgl with a warm-up tour to Spi d’Ursanna, followed by an avalanche transceiver (LVS) training session in the afternoon and a relaxed hut evening. Saturday features a challenging yet breathtaking ski tour to the Breite Krone and a sociable hut night, while Sunday rounds things off with the panoramic Lareinfernerspitze and a long descent through the Larein Valley to Mathon.

All days are guided by the spirit of “Magic Moments” and “Safe in the Mountains.” Our mountain guides share practical tips and know-how on safe travel in open terrain, how to assess avalanche conditions using the avalanche bulletin, and how to choose the right ascent and descent routes.

ORTOVOX provides complete safety equipment for the duration of the tour: avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, and an AVABAG LiTRIC backpack for extensive testing. ATOMIC equips you with the latest touring ski and binding test gear from the 26/27 collection for two days – perfectly tuned for all conditions and top performance on both the ascent and the descent.

What do you need to bring?

You’ll be traveling in open alpine terrain. Confident handling of your ski touring equipment and fitness for around 4 hours of uphill travel or approx. 1,000 vertical meters ascent/descent are required. You should also be a strong skier in all snow conditions and feel comfortable on slopes of 30–35 degrees. Overnight luggage and ski touring equipment must be carried by yourself on arrival and departure.

When?

The weekend takes place from April 17–19, 2026. Depending on weather and avalanche conditions, it will be decided whether the planned tours and summit objectives are feasible; otherwise, suitable alternative tours will be selected.

Where?

Meeting point is Friday morning at the Bründl Sports shop in Ischgl. After a meet & greet, you’ll receive your ORTOVOX and ATOMIC test equipment on request, perfectly adjusted to you. We then take the cable car to the starting point of our warm-up tour to Spi d’Ursanna at 2,898 m, followed by a descent to the Heidelberger Hut, room allocation and a short break.

Afterwards, we offer an avalanche transceiver (LVS) training session including basics, refresher content and a practical exercise scenario. The evening ends with a cozy dinner at the hut. On Saturday, one of the classics of the Silvretta awaits you: the demanding yet outstanding ski tour to the Breite Krone (3,188 m).

On Sunday, the Lareinfernerspitze (3,009 m) is on the agenda – a panoramic tour with a long, rewarding descent through the Larein Valley to Mathon. From there, we return to Ischgl by bus, carrying plenty of unforgettable memories with us.
