Wings for Life World Run 2023
This year, for the fifth time, Team Bründl said, "Let's run together for those who can't!"
More than 120 runners from Team Bründl Sports participated in the 10th Wings for Life World Run on May 7th, 2023. Along with a total of 206,728 people in 192 nations, participants from around the world ran at the same time for a good cause. Everyone ran as long and far as they could until the Catcher Car caught up with them. Wheelchair users, hobby runners, and top athletes ran, rolled, or walked side by side for those who can't do it themselves, raising €5.8 million for spinal cord research.
Overall, Team Bründl Sports was able to clock 1,537 km, ranking 42nd globally.
In addition to the €3,026.86 raised in entrance fees and sponsorships, we were able to add another €2,000 in donations thanks to our 1,537 km run.
100% of the entry fees and donations go to the Wings for Life Foundation and directly support spinal cord research.
